Use: Stop Beads secure the interior stops in hung and fixed windows. These beads feature an elongated center slot which lets users adjust how tightly the stops press against the sash to eliminate sticking or rattling during seasonal changes.

Note: Packages of 24 are generally sufficient for 3-4 windows depending on stop length.

Description

These traditional window stop bead adjusters secure the interior stops in hung windows as well as fixed units. Using SRS Adjusters allows for the periodic adjustment of the stop should the sash swell or contract seasonally. In addition, they allow for the neat and simple removal of the stop and sash for painting or glazing or to move furniture and other materials through the window opening.

Our adjusters are made of solid brass, allow for 1/8″ of lateral adjustment and come complete with slotted round head screws. Adjusters are pressed into a ½” hole drilled in the stop and the rolled edge provides an attractive finished appearance.

The adjusters are available in five finishes: Lacquered Brass, Unlacquered Brass, Oil Rubbed Bronze, Polished Nickel and Satin Nickel.

"

I hope more people are encouraged to buy your sash locks. I often woke up and admired them as I walked by on the way to eat breakfast.  I know that I am a trained landscape architect so these things are more notable to me but also what I love is the dependability of the locks. They are hefty and substantial and don’t give the slightest hint of any delicacy in mechanism. They were an aspect of the restoration process that had certainty.
