The Rapid Slim infrared paint stripper makes paint removal on both interiors and exteriors efficient and easy. This model has an optimized heating surface for accessing corners as well as wide flat surfaces on windows and sash.  This IR heater makes it fast, safe and environmentally friendly to soften and remove paint from most surfaces, including wood and concrete. Kit includes 3 scrapers for window and furniture restoration and sturdy carrying case.

Speedheater’s infrared technology lifts paint, varnish and putty from surfaces quickly and gently, allowing you to scrape surfaces almost effortlessly.  Works well on wood,  concrete and other substrates.  Finish adheres well to the newly stripped surfaces and can be applied immediately.

Used correctly, the Speedheater’s low heat and spark-free technology means a minimal risk of fire or glass breakage. Unlike a classic heat gun, no hazardous substances are released from the heated paint.

In the short term,  these heaters do have a higher acquisition cost.  However their quality, long service life and readily available replacement parts assure a very good return on investment.

I received the first shipment yesterday and just wanted to let you know what a great product you've got!
I used to work as a manufacturing engineer for Apple where I did lots of cosmetically-sensitive machining and surface finishing and I'm really impressed with both the design and execution of these parts. The cast surfaces are clean, the machined ones are burr-free, and the brushed ones aren't washed out from excessive polishing before texturing. The bearings in the pulley feel great and the action on the sash lock is nice and crispy.
I'm happy to have hardware like this in my home! I know that products like this take a lot of effort so I wanted to acknowledge it.
